Lebanon Waste Management is a sorting facility that treats dry solid waste. We accept plastic, nylon, paper, cardboard, electronics, etc…
So far we are the only facility in Lebanon that treats and recycles Polystyrene EPS (white foam). We also have many recycling services, such as “The Eco-Wedding” package and “ZERO-Waste Events” and recyclables pickups.
Our Mission
LWM is currently treating dry solid waste and turning the waste sector from a losing to a profitable one, while providing citizens the service of sorting from the source in affordable prices.
Our Vision
It consists of implementing sorting and recycling into people’s everyday life while spreading cultural and environmental awareness. Hoping that one day we’d cover all of Lebanon.
Our Work
Treating dry solid waste consists of many steps. Sorting the categories apart then each category is treated in a different way. Paper, cardboard, and cans are compacted into separate bales, plastic is shredded into small particles, glass is crushed into sand glass, electronics gets disassembled and the metal gets compacted, then finally the polystyrene (white foam) gets compacted in a special heavy machine into large tubes which saves space when transporting them to manufacturers.
